Summer Reading, Math and Arts Enrichment Program
Legacy 166 has released details for the 2011 Legacy 166 Summer Reading, Math and Arts Enrichment Program for children in grades 1 through 8. The six week program features drama, dance, music, graphic arts, photography, fashion design, drawing, painting, physical education and nutrition classes and field trips to area attractions. Classes have been divided into three age groups that also allow children to choose activities that fit their interest and skill level. High school and college students involved in the arts can register for non-paid internships for the program. Costs: $10 non-refundable Registration Fee. Program Fee is $45 weekly for 1st child and $35 weekly per each additional child in the same household. The first and last weeks program fees are due at registration on June 6th. Classes begin on Monday, June 6, and end on Friday, July 15, at Craighead Elementary School located at 1000 S. Ann Street, Mobile, Alabama. Hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided. There will be a student production at the end of the program. Space is limited.
